Welcome to KCSE news! It’s Monday, August 31,the last day in August and the beginning of a great new week.

We have heard that some classrooms are having trouble hearing our news broadcast. We’re working on this problem and hopefully it will be corrected soon. We’ll try to talk loudly for you.
We have special thanks for a past Sandburg student, Colton G., who worked very hard with a team of scouts to complete his Eagle Scout Project. Thanks to Colton there is a newly painted US Map on the South Playground, freshly stained and preserved benches in the front of the school, a new bench on the south playground, new paint at the loading dock and fresh paint on the playground equipment on the North playground. Wow! Thank you, so much, Colton for all your work. Our school looks great. We think the map on the South Playground will be fun.
Do you know all the things that can be recycled? We have a new recycling center in the Front Lobby of our school for these items!
Drink Pouches, Energy and Breakfast Bar Wrappers, all brands of candy bar wrappers, cookie wrappers, chip bags, and corks! So….save and recycle!
