I am Joan Bast, and eight years ago, I continued my love for teaching at Carl Sandburg Elementary school in kindergarten. My degree in Early Childhood Education, combined with my teaching experience, allows me the opportunity to foster the growth of young children, which has always been a passion of mine. The joys, laughter, creativity and energy that these very special young people bring every day are truly amazing!
