Welcome to Music!

I'm very excited about the music year ahead! Music is a part of our everyday lives and is so deeply engrained in our culture and history!! Every year in music, you will become a better musician and learn many fun things. We are going to have a blast in music class and I hope you are excited, because I sure am!!

1st and 2nd Grade "In-formances"

All 1st and 2nd graders will be presenting an "in-formance" for parents within the next month. We invite all parents to come in on the designated day to observe their child in this music "in-formance". Information will be going home in Friday folders which will have more specific details for each class.

1st Grade Show- E-I-E-I Oops!

My apologies to 1st graders and parents. I'm sorry that we weren't able to do E-I-E-I Oops this year. We will be doing it next year when they are all 2nd graders!! This was a big flub on my part, and I very sorry for cancelling the show this year.

Sandburg's new CHOIR!!

Choir begins Friday, February 1st. ALL students who have indicated interest should come to the music room on that day at 8:00 a.m.

Information about choir is going home in Friday Folders. If you did not tell Mrs. Fincham that you wanted to sing in our choir, but you are still interested, please let her know right away!
