Each year, I strive to create an innovative and productive classroom environment where learning can take place.  My classroom includes the structure that students need to support their learning, while still allowing for indvidual student learning styles and needs.  I love education and want to instill that passion for learning in my students. 

I have a Bachelors of Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Literacy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This upcoming year will be my fourth year at Sandburg and my sixth year teaching. 

I moved with my husband to Colorado a few years ago, and we love it! It is such a beautiful state!  We moved here from Las Vegas, where I grew up. I love reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spoiling my dog.
