Fifth grade is an exciting time for our students. It is their last year of elementary school and for many their 6th year at Sandburg. They have developed strong relationships with their peers as well as the staff and we see incredible growth academically, socially, and emotionally during the year.

The resources available to the students at Sandburg are incredible. We work collaboratively with many other teachers and specialists in the school on assignments, projects, and activities. We help the students begin to realize the many resources available to them and teach them how to use all of them to their advantage.
