Hello!  My name is Merri Linn Harmon. (B.S. Early Childhood/Elementary Education)  I have been teaching 2nd grade at Sandburg for two years, and 1/2 year teaching music.  Previously I taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade in Provo, Utah for three years.  I enjoy the Sandburg students and parents.  

I have four grown children, (one girl and three boys) all of whom have attended LPS schools i.e. Lois Lenski, Newton and Arapahoe High School.  I have close ties with the community. 

I believe the key to setting students up for success is by establishing a classroom environment in which students can feel safe, respected, actively engaged with a positive atmosphere where high student achievement is encouraged and developed.
