Thank you for following procedures and policies for the safety of adults and children at Sandburg. When asked, offenders often cite that they are in a hurry to get somewhere. Often these individuals don't realize how focused they are on their own wants/needs, leaving the safety/security of others are risk.
Give these areas your undivided attention everyday:

Crosswalks – Use the crosswalks! Please do not walk you child across the street in other places. Please do not coach your child to cross in other places to meet you. Be a positive model.

Crosswalks – Our teachers and parents are our crossing guards. They use stop signs to signal traffic to stop for safe passage of pedestrians. Please drive slowly in the school zones and watch for our crossing guards. Be a positive model.

Crosswalk in Car Drop Off – Please cross with care. Drivers, anticipate pedestrians in this area.

Car Drop Off – Please pull all the way forward to allow for other drivers to get off the street. Please have your child ready for drop off on the side-walk side of the car. If you must get out of your car, please park along the street to do so. Car Drop Off is drop and go only.

Signing In -- ALL ADULTS MUST HAVE SIGN IN AT THE OFFICE AND WEAR A BADGE to continue beyond the front lobby. Please do not ask staff to make an exception.

Late Arrivals – If you child arrives at or after 9:01, they must enter the front lobby.
